Easy Crispy Garlic Croutons (Vegan)

Homemade Garlic Croutons (Vegan). These crispy, easy to prepare and delicious garlic croutons are an ideal option to take your salads to a whole other level or simply give leftover bread a second life.

Yield 4.5 cups

INGREDIENTS
 

  • 4-5 cups bread, diced*
  • tablespoon margarine/vegan butter
  • 2 large garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley, or 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ - ½ teaspoon salt
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  • In a medium bowl, add all ingredients except for the bread.
  • Microwave for about 1 minute or until margarine is melted (you can also do this step in a small saucepan).
  • Transfer the diced bread to a bowl, pour the previous mixture and mix until completely coated.
  • Transfer to a tray lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper and distribute them throughout the space.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes (or until golden brown) at 190C (375F).
  • Let cool and store in an airtight container.
