Easy Crispy Garlic Croutons (Vegan)
Homemade Garlic Croutons (Vegan). These crispy, easy to prepare and delicious garlic croutons are an ideal option to take your salads to a whole other level or simply give leftover bread a second life.
INGREDIENTS
- 4-5 cups bread, diced*
- 4½ tablespoon margarine/vegan butter
- 2 large garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley, or 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ - ½ teaspoon salt
- Ground black pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a medium bowl, add all ingredients except for the bread.
- Microwave for about 1 minute or until margarine is melted (you can also do this step in a small saucepan).
- Transfer the diced bread to a bowl, pour the previous mixture and mix until completely coated.
- Transfer to a tray lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper and distribute them throughout the space.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes (or until golden brown) at 190C (375F).
- Let cool and store in an airtight container.

*sandwich bread, burger buns, hot-dog buns, baguette, etc.
