Homemade Vegan Protein Bars. Prepare this delicious, high in protein, easy & quick to make snack. They’re so addictive!
INGREDIENTS
- ⅓ cup maple or agave syrup
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 60 g vegan protein powder
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
Coating
- ⅓ cup roasted peanuts
- 70 g dairy-free chocolate
- 2 teaspoon coconut oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add maple syrup, peanut butter and coconut oil to a bowl. Whisk until you get a creamy consistency.
- Add protein powder, cocoa and mix until completely integrated.
- Transfer to a silicone mold or container lined with parchment paper.
- Press to form an even block. Add the peanuts on top and press again. Reserve.
- Melt chocolate with coconut oil (in the microwave or au bain-marie) and mix.
- Pour the previous chocolate mix over the peanuts (optionally sprinkle a little sea salt).
- Take to the freezer for 1 hour.
- Cut into squares or bars.
- Store in the freezer.
